the crappy thing is a voltmod would not be needed if Asus followed it's own spec. This board is supposed to do up to 1.65v in the bios and it only goes up to 1.55v
In the manual all the speps in between of 1.55 and 1.65v are also listed.
It is in the bios, I just need to unlock it.
If I can do that, then why would I solder my mobo?

No way, man... First of all, that's because patcher doesn't work with modern motherboards BIOSes. It's intended for correcting some common mistakes in old ones. Try making a voltmod instead.
